Day Spas offer relaxing, indulgent and often specialised treatments in a soothing and often heavenly environment. Facials and massages are the bare minimum on offer, with most spas having their own signature treatments which can last anywhere from one hour to a whole day affair. Body Wraps, Hot Stone Therapy and Dead Sea Mud Treatments are just some of the indulgent treatments that you can experience. Day Spas are also ever expanding their treatments and scope; you can also find cosmetic treatments such as microdermabrasion and botox as well as holistic treatments such as Reiki and Reflexology. Facials
Facials are a beauty treatment for the face. They often involve cleansing, steaming, purifying, exfoliation, extractions, masques, lotions and speciality creams. Facials vary and can be tailored to the individuals skin type and condition. Facials are more commonly becoming an indulgent and relaxing experience with a full face massage often part of the ritual. Facials are performed in Beauty Salons as well as Day Spas
Massage
Massage has been around for centuries and is commonly known for its relaxation effects and benefits to the general wellbeing. It is also widely used to heal sports injuries as well as other joint and muscle ailments. There are varying types of massage evolving over the years with influence from many cultures. Swedish and Thai are very popular and there are now alternate massages types such as the aqua, aromatherapy and Ayurvedic to name a few.
